O2 customer details being leaked???

Anonymous

Hi,

I received the below email which is almost certainly a phishing attack, given the real email address it came from and the URL behind the "HERE" link. Did anyone else get this? It is scary that they got hold of my name, email address, phone number and even date of birth and now they want my password too.

It is a blag. They get some details and send out mass emails.

apparently I have been with every bank in the world, every building society, most mobile networks and a fair few energy suppliers.

I have had many accidents and numerous ppi policies.

It is all a case that they buy mailing lists with some info on. It is pure luck that in this case you are an o2 customer.

Bin it and move on. If in doubt phone o2 on 202.

There has been quite a few of these the last couple of days.
Pass it on to Toby and ignore it but it may be sensible to change your password, just in case.....
