O2 Trafficline closure

Tried to use O2 Trafficline last Sunday, by dealing 1200 as usual.

The number wouldn’t connect, and a search revealed the service has now been closed: https://www.o2.co.uk/help/digital-services/trafficline

i for one one find this a bit disappointing as I found it useful on a long journey. I note the comments from O2 about declining usage and online alternatives, but given it’s against the law to browse apps when driving, I’m not sure this is a sensible argument!

Just wondered if anyone else on these boards used the service or is it just me?

Why not install Waze on your device, that pre warns you of incidents and is free. I use to and from work every day 🙂

1200 services where always going to die out, as people use apps, listen to the radio etc which are more update and can be updated a lot quicker
- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK
