O2 Trafficline closure

Tried to use O2 Trafficline last Sunday, by dealing 1200 as usual.

The number wouldn’t connect, and a search revealed the service has now been closed: https://www.o2.co.uk/help/digital-services/trafficline

i for one one find this a bit disappointing as I found it useful on a long journey. I note the comments from O2 about declining usage and online alternatives, but given it’s against the law to browse apps when driving, I’m not sure this is a sensible argument!

Just wondered if anyone else on these boards used the service or is it just me?

Re: O2 Trafficline closure

Why not install Waze on your device, that pre warns you of incidents and is free. I use to and from work every day :-)

1200 services where always going to die out, as people use apps, listen to the radio etc which are more update and can be updated a lot quicker

Samsung Note 10+ 5G|,, OnePlus 7 Pro (work phone), , Note 8, Nokia 8110 (New), iPad Pro

Im just an IT Geek, into all things Messaging and Collaboration, and Mobile and Hardware :-)

My desk is a cross between Microsoft and PC World

I DONT WORK FOR O2 but am a G33K
