Which cameras do people have?
Would users be interested in setting up the cameras on their own networks instead of using the O2 hub?

Not sure about make/model, but yes it would be useful to be able to at least access them.
Ideally they would still do what they used to (take a picture/record a video) when the conditions were met.

I've got two working with auto record and notify. Working on the other one, but yes, they work independently from the hub using port forwarding and 3Rd party software.
Hope to update soon.

Cool.
Will tag @PhoneChanger in this as he might (will) be interested...

Edited to add -just realised that I have the model numbers as I took photos of them to try and find on-line manuals, but not sure which one is which. Will post again tomorrow once I know for sure.

I have:

RC8230D (think this is the pan/tilt one)

RC4551-EU (think this is the indoor wide view camera)

RC8221D (think this is the indoor static infra-red)

SHP-P6412BN (this is the Samsung wide view)

Plus an outdoor one, but no clue of make/Model.

All the ones beginning RC should be do-able.
Working on the outdoor one.
I don't have the Samsung so others will have to tinker with that one..

@viridis looking forward to updates on this. Still have all the kit but currently boxed up as gave up trying to get it working outside of just being an IP camera which would only work when you connected to it (no recording / capture)

Resorted to some circle cameras to replace the outside one for now (though the O2 outdoor one is still there)

Well the ones with model numbers have the software built in for triggered recording, which is how I got them going, double with an ip camera app and you can have remote view, and built in trigger. But a pain to refine.
Likewise as you, the outside one is the pain...

@viridis would you be happy to share some of your findings? How to set up? Best IP application etc?

Not at the moment I'm afraid, almost all free time is currently testing something else but the cameras are still sitting waiting for me to finish it.
