O2 Chat service and Website

Anonymous
Not applicable
Is anyone else as frustrated as I am with the O2 chat service? I have no problem with the gurus per se but with the system itself. I have just spent over 30 minutes on a chat line to resolve a problem that would have taken 2 minutes on the phone. I tried phoning first but their operators were all busy!! The problem I had with the website was that it didn't accept my user name and password, even though I knew I had put in the correct ones. I therefore tried to change my password but was instead sent a new user name! I input the new user name and changed my password (back to what I knew it was before!) and then tried to change my user name back to my email address (which is also what it was before). The system would not accept my email address, as it told me that this email address already existed on their system (surprise surprise!!) and that I should provide a different email address (which I don't have). It was at this stage that I contacted the chat service and over 30 minutes later the problem was solved but I was nearly at screaming pitch by this time. I have looked on the site to try to complain but all I am given is their complaints code of conduct, not the means by which to do it! More frustration.
