O2 Blockage?

Anonymous
Not applicable
WHY is O2 blocking Christian Concern ? Access to Christian Concern's website is being blocked in at least some venues served by O2's public wi-fi. According to O2, outlets may choose to block content that they "don't think is appropriate." It seems likely that O2 is including our website in a category that some venues choose to block. Last year, various mobile phone operators lifted blocks on the CCFN website after being contacted by many concerned people. Why is access still being denied.

This is a question that can only be answered by Customer Services. I have no idea why it is being blocked

I share you're disappointment at not being able to access the Christian Concern website from my O2 mobile.

Well, of course you do, you followed a link to get here..

But you need to contact customer services and make the request. And tbh, I'd be asking the "some venues" why, as it has been noted that the individual premises can block sites without o2 input. Coming on to a site and making a clever username of Holmes backwards doesn't make you a detective if Barking up the wrong tree.

I'd also like to point out that I have ZERO problem accessing said site using o2 3g/4g so said site is NOT deemed as blocked by O2.
Your issue is with the individual premises

Simple solution is to turn off wifi and use mobile data.
