O2 Billing & Payment Service

Anonymous

Hey, Peeps

I paid my Bill(s) last month early and O2 was well than more than happy to take my money thought and this months Bill(s) came and I am being told I am a month behind. I thought to myself how is this even possible when I know it has been Paid well early. So I rang Customer Service up and went thru a lot 3 Phone calls and to only find out one of my Payments went down as a Top Up payment instead of a Bill Payment covering what was owed I pay manually not DD O2 Billing and Payment System is BS. Anyways it this well has screwed up my hole account also might have screwed my credit history as well. All Customer Service offered me was a 20 pound credit towards one of my Bills and I have still got to cover 18.49 of it. What do i do and Why does O2 screwed with customers payments. I am never behind nor later and always early and on time. Thought been told this could happen every month. This is not accpetable and wanted to share this with the O2 community. If it was possible I would cancel my stupid contract with O2. I cant put up with endless issues. I am not sure if i can do anything other than go thru this for the next 12 months. I dont understand any of it but O2 you have changed and not for the better ...

@AnonymousIf you want to cancel your contract then look at this https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-and-Pay-Go/How-To-Cancelling-Your-Contract-A-Guide/m-p/566774/highlight/true#M56526

Though you might be better off making a complaint https://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain

Edited to add. If you paid by direct debit, then this sort of thing wouldn't happen

My sentiments exactly. This sounds a right mess but I think @Anonymous must take a share of the blame for this.

Completely avoidable if paid by Direct Debit. We never, and I mean never see any posts from people complaining about bills going wrong if they pay using Direct Debit. Most utilities demand their bills are paid that way. Why O2 offers alternatives is beyond me.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

I pay by direct debit so have no problems or worries at all <enter smug face here :P>
But seriously, O2 manual payments are notoriously fraught with danger, as you have, unfortunately, found out.

I dont do DD because I might not have the available balance to cover it ... While I have the funds its best to cover and pay it makes a lot of sense had no issues until recent and to thought month to month like all of us you never know how much money you have plus my bills go up and down each month so there that and Na to taking any Blame O2 need to sort themselfs out and need to sort out there silly stupid Payment System and mess yes well if things worked it would not be but thats O2 plus each agent says and does different things which blows everything out and I will look into the links given above ... Thought thank you Peeps for the posts back ^_^

May I just ask if your keyboard has a comma, full stop or return key, cause I find a wall of text with no punctuation, very difficult to read wink
