So can anyone see the point of O2 Ask??

Yet again? So an app that we promote to help customers make calls and send texts from home or work when there is no network coverage has once again been taken away. What use is the app now? Anything you can do after 8th August can be done in My O2 and the chat function (who uses that?) is a poor runner up to the wealth of free wifi apps out there!

Cn @Martin-O2 @Marjo or @EmilieT get any information from the bods who make these decisions as to why or at least feed this back to them.

Unfathomable as to why they launch an app and months later withdraw it. Is there anything else in the pipeline? Are we going to be able to make calls via My O2 ......? Speechless!

Has there been any chat about it?  I scoured the board before posting, surprised there wasn't an uproar 😞

I can’t use the app so your post was the first I heard about it @a_hcir

I also got that text as a user of Ask.
Find it rather amusing that the app is being decommissioned so quickly after being published.
Are there plans to use the call/SMS function in another app? Is the app going to supplant the My o2 app, or disappear altogether?
Any news would be welcome @Martin-O2.

Good call, As there may be many asking about this, will we direct them to this thread and ask for a merge @Martin-O2?
