@Alistair101 No you won’t be compensated & it’s not O2’s fault you missed a shift

Hi O2,
Unfortunately due to today’s network issues I was unable to fulfill my deliveroo shift, resulting in a loss of earnings.
As a student this is a substantial amount of money for me with possible reprocussions.
Will I be compensated / credit for a loss of earnings?
Thank you
This isn't O2 you are talking to, its a community forum. All services are being restored now so I doubt you will get anything for 1 day https://status.o2.co.uk/

@Alistair101 This is not O2. Chances of you receiving any considerable compensation are slim. 32 million customers lost service today, which is now partially back up. https://status.o2.co.uk/

Nope, and as your are using a personal contract for business purposes, you might be found in breach of contract yourself. (I think you are classed as self employed) and owe can terminate your contract and still charge you for the contract term....
Also as deliveroo cant guarantee you work, as its zero hours and gig then you cant determine if you would or wouldnt have made any money and nor can deliveroo
