Live chat times?

I've just opened a live chat and it says 'we're really busy right now. Thanks for waiting.' Does it just say that for every two minutes all the time, or are they genuinely busy and my live chat will be answered?

As you know I rarely use it but I was able to open a chat window just now when I tried.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Been waiting to cancel my contract, got nearly to the end and was cut off. Then waited 45 minutes and gave up! Tried again and was told to ring in the morning! Not happy!

Was this via Live Chat? if so I would give them a miss for anything account based....you would be better ringing  202 in the morning....

It is no longer possible to cancel on live chat I don't believe but you can request a pac code now from them if you wish to port your number

To avoid issues later please don't cancel your direct debit until after your final bill has been paid.
