They have said in the recent weeks that their own OS​ ​is now ready.

Well I would expect Hauwei to do that. 🤔

Honor already have their item OS but that is Google based running 9.0 which works very well and I expect all the normal android apps will be available on the new Huawei. {or their own versions}
