Hi everyone, 

 

In this topic, we'll post any progress on the known plaform issues that you have brought to our attention so far and that we are looking into, along with any future updates we get on them. We thought it would be good to recap what is currently being worked on, and have it all in one place so we can keep you in the loop going forward slight_smile

 

If you spot any further issue too, please let us know in the comments!

 


 

Current issues being looked into

-These have been reported to the platform provider and are being investigated-

 

  • Kudos and posting box window not working correctly in the blog section
  • New comments on Blog articles (Reviews or Guides) in Unread posts link to the initial post and not the latest comments
  • Read comments stuck in Unread Posts even after being read

 

Current feedback being looked into

-These are being discussed with the different teams involved in the project-

 

  • Various differences between Mobile view and Full view (list here)
  • Size of the homepage header
  • Image in the hompage header
  • Lack of board structure on the homepage

The same here - not just on INBOX but also in SENT...

Serves no purpose, takes up huge amount of space, not wanted, not needed, not asked for, implimented with no consultation - [presumably admin  did not receive advanced notification?]. Lithium being a law unto themselves again... I wouldn`t hold my breath for a reasonable explanation, apology or consultation any time soon from their "techy" crew... rage

Well it's irritating bit not life threatening wink
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@Cleoriff @MI5 @Mi-Amigo I understand it's annoying slight_frown As I mentioned this morning we don't have much more information just yet but we're looking into it and you'll get an update as soon as we hear back from Lithium (Khoros ;))!

From your reply, I assume that neither you nor @Martin-O2 were notified of this in advance and you are as much in the dark as we are as to the purpose? If that is the case, may I ask what happened to the promise that we, the regular users of the Community, would be consulted and informed of future changes before they were implimented? The latter question is, of course, directed at Lithium/Khoros and not at the O2 Community admin who are as much victims as we, the members, are.

@Mi-Amigo Lithium/Khoros continuously releases updates, across all the communities using their platform. Those usually are more background things that would not affect your daily use of the community, and we do not necessarily have a full understanding or visibility of what will be updated by themselves ahead of time. That's something we can definitely try to work on, to give you guys more information on what updates are coming from the platform provider ahead of tor as they are released slight_smile

 

As for any changes that the Community Team makes, we will continue working closely with you guys to discuss what we are doing and take into account your thoughts on those changes!

It would very much appreciated if you can get more information on updates from the platform provider ahead of or as they are released.

And as for the point

As for any changes that the Community Team makes, we will continue working closely with you guys to discuss what we are doing and take into account your thoughts on those changes!


I am sure that all members, myself included, appreciate that you, the other admin managers, and the Community Team have worked closely with us and have discussed with us and kept us informed as to what changes you might be considering. On a personal level, I have no problem or gripe over this, my concern is over the attitude towards you and the Community Team and us the users by Khoros, as the platform provider.

No information yet on the columns we talked about recently, but I've got another update for you slight_smile

 

Lithium/Khoros has made some changes that they believe should help with the intermittent slowness. Can you let us know here is you experience this again please?

I just wanted to let you know that the platform provider has confirmed those columns in Private Messages are the result of a bug. They do not have an ETA for the fix but they're working on it, and we'll update you here as soon as we have more information slight_smile
