Facebook advert scam

I was on the Facebook app Last night and I saw what I thought was an article on some new smart watch, it was an advert... When I opened it Is was ask to do a survey, it asked 3 questions:,
What do you prefer, apple or Android?
Large or small screens?
And I can't remember the last question but upon selecting an answer is received the following text

FreeMsg: Thank you for subscribing to Topikoo for £4.50 per week from Tekka until you text STOP to 62442. HELP? 03332021398

I had to text STOP but it's already charged me £4.50 plus what ever the standard charge for my reply was. Anyway it was just a heads up, someone is becoming a millionaire by ripping people off.

Just received my latest bill from O2............£4.50 charged by Tekka UK Ltd for membership to 'TheSexyKlub"???!!!

I can remember answering three questions on FB and then receiving a text saying something about subscription and to text STOP if not required. I did this but I've still been charged for something that I did not request or indeed, do not want. I've just spent the last 15 listening to awfull music and feeble excuses as to why im waiting via our great provider, O2. They are absolutely useless!!! 'Not our problem' she said. This charge is from a third party so you need to take it up with them.

Thank you so much for being so helpful O2, I just cannot wait for my current contract to end. After many years as a loyal customer I just cannot wait to leave what is becomming a third rate service!

Correct - It's not O2's problem.
You instigated the charges with a 3rd party so you now need to stop them.
Visit https://www.phonepayplus.org.uk/ for help and advice on this.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

You would get the samer response from any of the networks. You clicked the link so you need to sort it out with the company responsible for subscribing you.
