I am a pay monthly customer and recently upgraded my tariff. I wanted to transfer my existing number and used live chat. I was told that I would have to pay a termination fee. I explained that if I had known this I would not have upgraded. The person I was communicating with ( who was operating out of India) came across as robotic in his relies and somewhat unhelpful. I rang O2 customer services in the UK and their response was totally different; empathetic, helpful and totally professional. Well done 02 from a very satisfied customer.

This is such a common problem sadly. Live chat tend to read from a script and are ill informed in my opinion...

Glad you got a helpful CS when you rang them...Always pleased to hear a positive outcome...

Many people have had this problem with live chat. There's no substitute for speaking to someone. Glad they could help.
