The remote play works much, much better than I previously used on Z3, framerate and image quality are brilliant. I do use it quite a bit now as it just seems to work better.
I'll have another try when in France to see if it's still usable abroad lol

Thanks. Any idea what connection speed is needed? for example, do you think it would work if you tethered from you phone data (not 4G)?

Possibly, but it'd probably lag and stutter, gotta remember tho, the tab is 4G. ...

@viridis does the tablet have the usual ton of Android bloatware on it thats impossible to delete without rooting?

I've always found Xperias to be very light on bloat, and the "free" apps are standard delete.
Except sony system apps (music, video, gallery etc)

Xperia os skin is probably the closest to vanilla android to be honest.
