Data abroad

Anonymous
Not applicable

I purchased my iphone 5 with o2 because I was  impressed with the 25mb data roaming for £1.99. Now, without any apparent thought for customer service the amount of data is reduced to only 15mb which is rather a lot less than what I wanted. Had I know this was going ot be reduced I doubt I woud have taken out the contract.

Am I the only one seriously annoyed about this, it does seem rather unfair.

Yes - it is changing this week to 15Mb.

This is more than most people were using anyway and reducing this data means that O2 can implement better call rates. From now on, in Europe, making calls will not come out of your minutes alloawnce, they will just be charged with a 50p connection charge.

It's still 25mb for Europe - Which countries have changed?

There still exists the 60 minute limit. But, like before, just hang up and call again.

But yes - just 50p. Your UK allowance isn't touched.
