OK so perhaps this will stir the loins of the eModeration team :-

Both myself and adamtemp64 have brought this to the attention of eModeration but still the Profile has not been deleted.

It would be interesting to know what they have been trying as it doesn't seem to be working at the minute.

Re: Changes to the forum to tackle spam!

It is a bit sad though when I check this section first before the iphone section just to see if it is worth it! This site is no worse than others but if you wish to change then involve the users a bit.

Well it looks like they have finally taken notice of a Profile which included a link to a Russian prostitute site but I've had to take the blame for posting the dodgy comments :-

Hello ravefromthegrave,
We’re sending you this message as we have moderated one or more
of your comments.
This is because comment(s) you have made might be considered offensive
by the user they are directed towards, or by a third party.
We want our forums to be a place where people can share experiences
about O2 products and services, exchange views and provide assistance
to each other. It’s important that the forums are enjoyable for
everyone, so please do not make hurtful or personal comments about
other users.
We hope you continue to use and enjoy our O2 forums.
O2 moderation team

But at least this time they don't mind their name being used.

Re: Changes to the forum to tackle spam!

Do the mods actually speak English? It would seem like they are a bit unclear about the point of certain posts which are being made to direct their attention to inappropriate things elsewhere on the site :womanindifferent:

Re: Changes to the forum to tackle spam!

I think we need consistency with the current mods which appears to be severely lacking.
In this thread I have named a spammer and not been moderated yet others have been.
Also, I have had a post moderated but received no PM from the staff explaining why. The only explanation I could see was the mod edit: Other
Time to come clean O2.
