Boosting network coverage

Anonymous

Hi, I am shortly moving to an area where 02 has mediocre coverage and only 2G. I have heard that 3 and vodaphone have apps or boosters that remedy this problem. Does anyone know anything about this and if so do 02 have anything similar?
Many thanks

O2 offer their Business customers signal boosters but unfortunately not for consumers. If you have WiFi, download the TU Go app.

If you really push o2 you can as a consumer get a boostbox however it will only help you at home.

That said I live in a 2g area. I have wifi at home and 2g calls and data. It does the job. I would like 4g for when I am walking the dog or when out in the locality but otherwise it isn't a drama really.

Happy to help. Are you moving to a town or village? How far is your nearest town as that might help indicate 4g plans for the future.
