To add here. The monthly contract types from O2 are Refresh (where you get the handset and airtime)

Do you know how many inclusive minutes texts and data you need? And do you need a new phone?

Once you know those details then you can start looking around. Personally I would avoid cash back where you have to submit claims several times during the contract. Lot of hassle and frequently not paid.

If the O2 Refresh tariffs don't suit you, take a look at what you can get through Carphone Warehouse, who usually offer better deals on standard  2 year contracts.
