The phone mast near me has been down for the best part of 6 weeks according to the service checker. Rang in to enquire and complain and was told nothing can be done until it's fixed which "should be soon". Despite 6 weeks already passing. I was told to go to the next area along and check if it connects there to make sure it's not just my phone even though I have experience the same issues in the city center. Very irritating advice to put it nicely.

So your phone is working elsewhere @MsJac ?
O2 never give timescales for repairs as they cannot be relied upon to be accurate, but they will compensate you when the mast is fixed.
