APN

I send a text and recipient receives 8 or 9! Error msg received this morning saying APN not set. Several versions online so don't know what to use. Please help. Have tried them all. I'm a bit of a tech novice.

APN's are for data and nothing to do with text messages.
Many people are reporting multiple messages since the problems yesterday so I guess it will all sort itself out eventually.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
OnePlus 6 (O2 & Sfr), Z3 Tablet (Three UK), iPhone 8+ (EE)

Tried it and texts still scrolling and going through multiple times. So I'm sure you are right. Can someone in o2 please sort the text messaging?

They are working on it now @Ness46 as they are aware of the issue

I'm having same issues no texts are sending but being recieved multiple times.
