4G

Just got my Samsung S6  and 4G coverage is good in my area. My phone settings are set to 4G/3G/2G auto connect. On the O2 website https://www.o2.co.uk/4g/setup/  you enter your number and a code is sent by text. When you enter the code you are given the option to select your phone from the list , but there are no phones on the list !

Is it essential to go through this process at  https://www.o2.co.uk/4g/setup/   ? I dont have the 4G symbol on my phone despite being in a hot area

4g should be enabled automatically. Give CS a call on 202 if it's not.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

You don't need to go through the process.

The criteria is a 4G sim, A 4G tariff and a 4G Phone.

Try texting ACTIVE to 2020, save the settings and reboot the phone.

If you still have issues call customer service to check you are set up for 4G.
