Shortcodes generally begin with 5, 6, 7 or 8 so I would be very suspicious.

I was checking my bill last night and discovered that I had received 20 premium texts at 0.84333 each for a total of £16.66 - also worrying in that they didn’t come through to the phone. I complained to O2 using their chat function but all the girl could do was put a premium bar on my number - not very satisfying at all. I still have to pay for texts i never received! Reporting it to BBC Watchdog as i think people should be made aware of this.
I have been a loyal O2 customer for over 10 years - and this is how they treat me?! Time to change provider i think.

I rang O2 and they stated that they were aware of the problem- and from the messages here I see I got off lightly with just 20. Bizarrely the texts fid not appear on my phone???
