why do O2 use DHL?

I just purchased my HTC HD7 on thursday and was really looking forward to it on friday....friday came and was in all day waiting anxiously for it.
Midday came so i thought i would check the DHL tracking website,
8am: out on delivery
12pm: changed delivery van
5pm: couldn't reach consignee
6pm: No One To Receive Card Left
hang on a minute.....i was in all day waiting for this parcel, i did not hear any door bell ring....i also kept checking outside to see if i could see a van...so how on earth did it say "no one to receive"? also no card was left!
worse thing is i have to wait till monday because they dont deliver on saturdays unless the person who sent it pays an extra £10, this was suppose to be a next day delivery!
can you not choose a better company to deliver like parcel force?

Perhaps this happened!!

I've worked for DHL on an NHS Contract and drivers are told in their 'Drivers Handbook' that the use of Satnav is a disciplinary offence!
And yes, we wondered why too!!!
