weekend payment?

my phone bill is due out today(saturday)
will it go out monday? if so can i go in the bank monday morning and put the money in, which will go in immediately.

also will they cut me off? or charge me?

You can usually pay in upto 4.00pm on the day the DD comes out and your bank will cover it for you.

Just to clarify NO direct debits for any organisation can be collected on a weekend day or back holiday. The company you are paying should ALWAYS request the payment for the first working day after unless they have agreed with you / notified you in advance (min 7 days) of their intention to collect payment early.
