An observation: when I scroll down this frequently-referenced page:

https://www.o2.co.uk/international/using-your-phone-abroad

I get to a section that says:

Yet clicking inside the red outline takes me to

 https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/international/the-international-bolt-on

1000018736.png

...which clearly has nothing to do with the "O2 Travel Inclusive Zone Bolt On".

Can this be corrected, @Dave-O2 ?

It's still incorrect, for all the reasons pointed out by @Cleoriff above - The International Bolt On is for cheaper calls FROM the UK *to* certain International destinations (outside the UK).

Viz:

Calling abroad? Paying a fortune? Our International Bolt On is perfect for Pay Monthly customers making international calls from the UK.

For £3 a month you’ll be able to make calls to international mobiles and landlines, from just 1p per minute.

@Dave-O2 - it is still wrong, just look at the description on the incorrect page vs the description of the O2 Travel Inclusive Bolt On:

Screenshot 2024-05-14 113528.png

The offer it SHOULD link to is:

pgn_1-1715683066284.png

Currently it links to nowhere, but the O2 International Bolt On at £3, which discounts calls FROM the UK (at home) TO several International destinations clearly is not the page that should be linked to in a page called:
https://www.o2.co.uk/international/using-your-phone-abroad

And I would add that the text in the first box on the left on https://www.o2.co.uk/international/using-your-phone-abroad

pgn_0-1715688637912.png

is itself confounding...

O2 Travel £6/day in many locations

O2 Travel Inclusive included with certain tariffs at zero additional cost (and also available as a VOLT perk!).

Nice to see clean, clear advice on O2's own pages, not 🤦🏼‍

@Dave-O2

I've just checked. It appears they have removed the International Bolt On completely from  this page

https://www.o2.co.uk/international/using-your-phone-abroad

which is now just showing

O2 Travel, O2 Travel Inclusive and 'BUYING a BOLT ON if you need more when abroad ie

O2 Travel etc 24.jpg

Much clearer. Thank you.

Thanks, @Dave-O2 - great stuff!

The only thing that could be added to make the middle paragraph, O2 Travel Inclusive Zone, really good is:

"Also included free as a VOLT benefit to O2's Pay Monthly customers who are with VirginMedia."

You have to make the most of those synergies. after all! 👍
