Unless you're on one of the latest tariffs you'll need to add a bolt on to activate it.
You're best calling iPhone customer services on 2302 to check this out, they can also advise how to connect the iPhone up to your computer.
Click Link: HERE for more info on tethering on the o2 support pages.

For the OP, I was staying out of trouble by not going too far.
MyWi 4 is a jailbroken app, if you want tethering on a straight phone you need to talk to o2 and get it set up through them.

I have mywi working its great

Moderation still doesn't seem to be sensible. They remove my post telling him to contact o2 to set up tethering as what he is considering is against Apple/O2 terms and conditions. But leave the post saying it is working great for him giving free tethering!
Stick to the rules of the forum and you are modded!

That was some crazy modding. " call O2 and ask to buy a to buy a tethering bolt on? Earn revenue for the company we are contracted to? We'll be having none of that! *snip* grin
