Hi...talk about being given the runaround.
Been onto samsung..who told me to contact my carrier (o2)...then o2 asked me to contact samsung!!
Acoording to samsung..they have released 4.3 but o2 are stalling issuing the software update.
I just bought a samsing gear to work with my samsung mega and was told that it was ok on operating system 4.2.2 by carphone warehouse....but my samsung mega is not connecting to my new gear....now to find out it needs to be jellybean 4.3!!
Soo frustrating so if anyone knows differently...or can assust me getting thr update to 4.3...or when o2 can get yheir act together that would be great....

Your not alone in your frustration.
Discussions have taken place before on the community regarding the lack of info provided as to roll outs of firmware once O2 have tested it themselves.
Seems if disposable income allows it's best to buy the handset sim free if being on the latest firmware faster is important to the user.

If so, the news is even worse, I'm afraid as there is nothing Worldwide that would enable to you to use your Galaxy Gear yet 😞
