Hi, I recently rang "118 118" from my pay as you go mobile and was on for a duration of 2 minutes. the call cost me £12, has anyone else had this problem and think that this is way too much to charge for a 2 minute call? how do I go about talking to 02 about it?

Indeed. Particularly when O2 have their own directory enquiries number 118402....which is still expensive at £1.30p.m. though certainly less than the £5.00 shown above...

The sooner people stop using this, and you can quote me, "borderline illegal, immoral and ancient system of unregulated crooks" the better it will be when they all go pop and people's choices of directory assistance is a fixed small fee AGAIN.

Waow. I never knew these prices, wish I had've known beforehand. too late now but will definitely never be ringing again and would never advise anyone else to ring even if it was an emergency - gutted!

Absolutely extortionate, how the regulators and legal bodies let them get away with this is criminal (imo)

@Anonymous Google is always your friend if you need to find numbers for pretty much anything, whether it's an emergency or not.
