I just got a call from 0800 952 4854 regarding a great offer for a monthly tariff for my wife - unlimited calls, unlimited texts and 5gb of data for £8 a month. I stopped the call when he was asking for bank details. Can anyone tell me if this a genuine call from o2 or not. Worryingly he knew all the previous bills amounts I had paid.

It was a great offer but scared my bank will be drained. Why can't they take the money from my account if it is o2 as they already have my bank details?

Does anyone know if this is from o2 or not?

@Biggles

Most likely one of O2's trusted partners, most of which will rip you off (such as Aerial Direct).

Never accept anything from a cold call and certainly don't give them any details of any kind.

ways to report here including Action Fraud website

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
