No offence mate I can understand where you're coming from but my thoughts are with the poor staff at the moment.

Ill be leaving at the end of the year if it doesn't sort itself out. (Started trailing some new sims on my travels)
Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you’re wrong. So Ive been told wink

Totally incorrect. I know someone who works at the Bury Call Centre and she will lose her job within the next two years. Did you actually read the link that this thread is based on? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/mediatechnologyandtelecoms/telecoms/10087909/Capita-plans-to-close-O2-call-centres-and-cut-thousands-of-jobs.html

For a telecommunications company like O2 this line from the report really annoys me.

A Capita centre in India offering support via web chat will also be expanded as part of plans to discourage customer calls, known as “contact deflection”.

Only 7 months to go then im no longer an O2 customer Smiley Very Happy

That's pretty outrageous. I'm on a one month legacy rolling contract, and have been for years. I only stay because I still have unlimited web.

The link basically reads " stuff the UK workers & stuff the customers to "

1 of the reasons im still with O2 is the UK call centres, ill be asking for my PAC as soon as I can.

A company that doesn't have UK call centres is a company that doesn't get any business or money from me!

If I could, I'd also be asking for a MAC code, but I recently signed a 12 month contract to stay with O2, and am now out of the 14 day cooling off period! Damn!
