Sorry I've been busy "having a life" slight_smile but I'm in now wink
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

I to will be leaving O2 in Jan when sim only contract comes to an end.

A UK call centre is what people in the UK ringing up for help / advice with there service really want, it's stupid to ditch it.

It seem's O2 lately is on a mission to drive away customers.

Wtf closing uk call centres, they are just looking to use cheap labour. Not get the unemployed off the streets, they'll add to that now too.

It's absolutely disgusting! I feel for the staff as they give a magnificent service and are reknown for that. I sincerely hope O2 will rue the day they dumped/sold their paying customers.

Hope all you O2 workers find another job very soon when the inevitable happens and thank you very much for all your valuable work and help over the years.

It's a sad state of affairs. Sadly from a business point of view it makes sense to outsource things like this as its cheaper for the company.

I work for O2 but my comments and opinions posted here are solely my own and do not reflect those of Telefonica.

There goes my job.

I've applied for redundancy so hopefully that will go through.

It's a shame - I liked working for O2 a lot until this.

I feel for you.

I am in one of the stores being moved to franchise so essentially the same could happen there but there is no redundancy being offered there 😞

Typical fashion with both is how the media was first to break the news.

Lets pray that for all the change something good eventually comes of this.

Franchise is probably the best place to be right now.

Unfortunately they seem to have missed the part of what they built their business on. Signal is not as good as it used to be yet customer service is second to none.

If that changes now they've outsourced then I can see a lot of movement to other companies unfortunately :(.

I wonder how much they've actually saved/how much the execs take home in "bonuses" each year. I bet the latter outweighs the former!

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you’re wrong. So Ive been told wink
