o2 charge extra £4.97 for VAT?! This wasn't shown ...

On top of the £35 I will be paying, I have now been notified that an extra of £4.97 for VAT will be charged on top. Nowhere is this stated before you sign up for the contract, not even in the terms and conditions.

Are they suppose to be doing this?

ring them on 202 to discuss this as VAT should be included in the price, unless you go outside your allowence then you will be charged VAT

I think you have misread the bill.

The £4.97 will just be the Vat element of the total.

Do you have a business tariff? All business tariffs are quoted ex-VAT, only consumer
tariffs are quoted inc vat.
