Hi can anyone give me a contact for the credit checking team, o2 are asking for a 300 pound deposit for a 22 pound a month contract, i passed the credit check with vodafone and signed up yesterday for 25 pounds a month, i can cancel it if o2 give me a contract without the deposit.... if a moderator could get in touch it would be great, thanks

Call sales and they can explain it?

However - the deposit is for credit reasons and o2 can not waive this decision.

Very strange how credit checking works between the different carriers, I was refused a £15 / month sim only contract from Orange, but was accepted for a £20 / month sim only contract on O2 (which has now been upgraded to a £26 / month contract with a Blackberry Z10).

Seems to be a dark art as to how they come to their decisions, since there's only a few major credit checking services to choose from
