o2 Priority Notification says i have won a Limited Edition X-Box one...

I Just had a notification on my HTC One m8 saying I had won a Limited Edition X-Box one. I Remembered entering the draw a few weeks ago so I excitedly went to my o2 priority app.... which tell me I have not won squat 

What ?! Whats going on ?

Why would o2 be so cruel to me !!

If it is an official O2 notification I'm sure that more info will be forthcoming in the form of an email or text to your phone.

I would call O2 Customer Services. 202 for Contract. 4445 for PAYG. 8002 for Business to clarify if you have or have not won anything.

How can I get spam  from the o2 priority app ?

Clicking on the  notification opened the app ?

Maybe a bug in the system I guess

Not spam, came via priority app notification.
I got same message then when I clicked it said not.
Unbelievable screw up.
Hence the fact priority was just down for a good 20 mins.

Basically, o2 have just told a million people, they have won an xbox one.

I had the same 😞 my app was down, then got the notification, but now says i haven't won. O2 will have lots of very unhappy customers!!

Defo not spam as it came from the app and the link took me to the app.
