So whilst sat charging Jolteon aka the Polestar 2 at the Porsche Centre in Sheffield, I thought I would do a comparison between o2 and Spusu who are an MVNO running on EE..
The speeds from o2 and Spusu Shocked me in a good way
o2 topped out at 269Mbps
Pixel Fold
Spusu - topped out at 504Mbps
Galaxy Z Flip 5
Upload speeds on both are rubbish..
Not bad from Spusu and they do esims and under £10 for 20Gb of Data...

The surprise there was what you squeezed out of O2. I have never experienced anything like that on O2, although my local Three "Pole of Wonder" does sometimes approach your Spusu speeds.
I suppose that O2 realise that Porsche drivers don't like hanging around. 🤣

Good job you didn't check in Lancashire.....

I am considering spusu after this!
The speed on O2 in is shocking! In a good way, as I would not expect to see that!

Just be aware you cant get 5G on a Pixel Device, as they haven't got the config yet pushed from Google, and there are some good deals via MoneySupermarket, starting at £2.90 per month for 1GB

Thank you @madasaf1sh. I will be mindful.
I'll keep you posted on how it goes! Are you still happy with spusu after these months>?

Looking at the deals on 30 day contracts it seems that customers would be better off with them than O2 PAYG, especially with 5G, Volte and WiFi Calling.

Very happy, Customer Services is outstanding and the esim arrived in 5 minutes... OTP's can be a bit hit and miss but I dont use them as my main sim..
I have recommended them to quite a few people...

Have a great week all!

Hello.
I switched, so thank you for the advice. I have been with them for almost a month. The network is OK, and there is better coverage than O2. But a small thing seems to stop me from fully keeping this network. There is a delay when I make a call... as in the call starts, but it takes ages to ring.
Most importantly, although there is coverage, I randomly receive SMSs that I missed calling without the phone actually ringing. Did yo experience that as well?
