apparently the only places you canget this n900 this year is nokia direct or mobile phones direct

operators wont be stocking this in 2009

so a friend said who was at the nokia regent street store the other day

also heard on other forums that o2, orange & voda will be getting this phone in the next few weeks, i hope so.

ive heard from a friend at nokia not to exect it on any networks untill the new year and that only mobilephonesdirect will be offering it on 3rd party contracts ie vodafone through mobilephonesdirect

he may be wrong but he seemed quite sure

if it was coming in a few weeks it would be on o2 systems and iam sure they would hype it up a bit

it isnt on vodafone coming soon page and their eforum mods say they have heard nothing and that the best thing to do is look at the coming soon page which is their robot awnswer for we havent heard nought about this phone sorry , its exaclty what they say when anyone asks about the n86 on vodafone , we havent heard anything please check the coming soon pages

i would love it to come to o2 believe me but i cant see it happending soon they would want to test it etc before they stock it to make sure it isnt a dud like the n97 and that it works with their services ok

maybe in the future but i wouldnt expect it anytime soon

I just phoned 02 customer services myself and I was told that nothing was showing on their system and when I asked what that covers up to I was told that it depended on whether there was a definite date for release or not. Some were on their system for January next year whereas there are some on for the end of Nov & all of Dec however if it isn't on the system at the minute then it would be unlikely that it would out anytime soon. So just more confusion. I'd say we are in for a wait however it wasn't a definite "oh we'll not be stocking that" so more hopeful than I was.

It will most likely NOT be an exclusive. Nokia have gone on record saying that they won't be adding operator customisations.
Carphone Warehouse are trying to get me to stay with them by dangling the N900 in front of me. If it's on O2 then I'll *consider* it, but right now my PAC is burning a hole in my pocket.
