no mobile reception in donaghadee

Anonymous
Not applicable

I live in Donaghadee , and both myself and wife have had 4 days up to now with bad mobile or nil reception, i have phoned o2 4 times, and they say they are looking into the problem, my latest call they said that o2 dont have engineers, and that they use third party enginneers, and because of this they dont know when the problem will be sorted. If this is going to be an on going problem i will be leaving o2 and i will be expecting to be compensated for the amount of days both myself and wife has had to put up with this inconvienience. It would also have been nice if they would have text or emailed the people of this area with a update of the problem, I feel really let down

You could try turning off 3G on your phones until the issue is rectified, this will enable the phone to connect to a 2G signal which may be better.

It mainly a 2G only area, with a dash of 3G900 if you're lucky! slight_smile

I find it really strange that there is still nothing showing on the status page about the problem.

I doubt it's related to an issue in Northern Ireland!

Check here and report it if nothing shows:
