new contract first bill due date is 02/01/2015

First bill due date is 02/01/2015 does this mean the direct debit set up will automaticaly come out my bank on the 02/01/2015 or later

Usually the bill arrives on your anniversary date such as the date when the contract started which in your case was the 29th.

This means that your bill will be generated on that date each month then the direct debit will be collected 12 days later
