according to o2, my last address isn't in an area where i should have been able to get 3g etc, i could and the missus on 3 network couldn't. we move 1.2 miles dwon the road to an area which, according to o2, i should get 'okay' coverage (good outdoors), and the roles are reversed, the missus' phone is super quick and i get...nada. as far as 3g goes i can forget it. my phone signal is just about adequate but, really o2? come on now, pull your fingers out and get your deals done and get the coverage up to par. paying for line rental is one thing but tech has moved on so quickly you've failed to keep up. people don't only use their mobiles for calls and texts now. contractually you don't have to but reality is, you should be providing 3g coverage everywhere. you now charge me to do the interwebs, you didn't in the past, but seeing as i can't use it, you might as well give me unlimited internets for free...no? well, get your infrastructure sorted out then. there's a good company. ta.

Not having 3G doesn't mean you can't use data services - you'll still be able to use EDGE or 2G. Also, if you are not getting 3G at home, why not just connect to your home network via wi-fi - faster than 3G and no data charges.
