I HAVE RECIVED A TEXT SAYING THAT MY MOBILE PHONE WILL BE AFFECTED ON 26th TO 29 SEPTEMBER THIS MONTH DUE TO NETWORK UPGRADES WILL I BE COMPERSATED FOR LOSS OF NETWORK FOR THIS TIME                   KIND REGARDS

No network guarantees 100% uptime. 

You will have to see the nature of the disruption and for how long. 

You can then try for compensation, they may make a goodwill payment, but be prepared to be disappointed 

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

It's possible as a goodwill gesture if the O2 system shows you haven't been able to use your phone

Not sure just what compensation you will expect but divide your monthly airtime by 30 and it won't be much

Probably more of an inconvenience rather than a financial loss
