I have been sent a 'loyalty' offer on my app, the phone im looking at is the pixel 9, i have compared it with the main website as if i were a new customer and it seems i get £20 off the upfront cost taking it to £10, however the monthly price for me is £24.42 where as a new customer gets £24.00 per month. Thus probably offsetting the £20 off the upfront cost i got, and this is a 4 YEAR contract, are they taking the *bleep*?

i was under the impression o2 didnt do 'loyalty' anyway, but now it seems they are claiming they do but blatently lieing about it, or have i got this wrong?

They'll try anything to get you tied in then add massive price increases every year.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Pixel 8a 256GB on Google Klarna Finance cost £16.72/month for 24months

uSwitch 12 month 40GB SIMO for £8/month, rising to £9.80 in April.

And all O2 offer is £59 upfront then £43/month.

Shop around, @jaygee25 - especially with Black Friday deals atm.

Both my £8.70 contracts are now available to upgrade, 40GB doubled to 80GB

Not sure whether to go for the same deal as last year and renew now or wait to see the offers in March to beat the annual increase
