Well i just have to say you dont have to put up with it, there could be many reasons for it, one could be that you are provisioned incorrectly, if anything has changed on the accout such as, tarriff change, bars removed it will lead to part service. Customer service should be able to establish and help with this issue wink

In this case it wouldn't be, as that outage was in relation to ip stream, which is access customes that where only effected, which is seperate from cell cites that use GPRS so broadband outage will never effect a mobile customer unless they connected to their personal wifi connection slight_smile

Hello, I am new here but I am also experiencing problems connecting to the Internet on my Iphone. I pay £10 each month for a bolt on access and now I cannot use the Internet.
I am not sure who I should contact for advice.

Ok so on a non iphone tariff on simplicity or standard contract tariff if you pay for a bolt on first clear the network by doing below.
Setting, general, reset, then reset network settings, you wont lose anything then.
Go into settings, general, network, cellular data network.
Cellular data apn: mobile.o2.co.uk
Username: vertigo
Password: password
Vpn isn't available on non iphone tariff standard 901 for voicemail, and 1750 to activate service
Mms apn: wap.o2.co.uk
Username: vertigo
Password:password
This should work, make sure mms is turned on via settings, messages, MMS enable
Hope this helps. grin
