iPhone 6se users beware O2 policy

@Anonymous 6SE users beware!
Thank you for your unlatching request for IMEI *
I'm sorry, we are not currently unlocking the iPhone SE handsets.

Even though they don't own the phone, I was told on Twitter if I pay up my contract with them they would unlock, I did, then told me they would not do it if I don't renew my contract!

I have spent 4 days being given the run around on the phone, on the Internet and on Twitter with countless excuses, this is the latest excuse!

If you have paid for the handset in full then O2 are obliged to unlock it as per their own terms.

Standard iPhone rules. It can't be unlocked for the first 6 months unless device is paid off in full.
I assume you must have spoken to the YTS wink

I don't owe them any money, I have paid off the end of my current business contract with O2 which I use with an iPhone 5 that I bought myself.  I bought this phone to use with a personal sim with ee. Ignorantly put in my 02 sim to back up and they locked it. They don't own the phone, I did not buy it from them, I have paid up my contract with previous sim on 02.
