Will O2 compensate its users for the loss of service?

no read your airtime t&c
the same goes for fixed line telephone (bt) broadband and any of the services gas and electric.
the large outage i guess will be outside of o2 control and i suspect will be affecting other mobile networks.

My T-Mobile mobile service has not been affected...Just glad I have an alternate provider when something like this happens.

If on a consumer tariff there is surely nothing o be compensated for?
If it proves to be a lengthy outage there may be a chance of some reimbursement of tariff charges, but even that is down to the discretion of the advisor. For example whatever your allowance is for the month, you still have it when service is resumed, it doesn't get pro rated. Reimbursement is one thing, but wanting to be compensated is surely a bit silly?

You're right...Reimbursement: If you weren't able to use your O2 pre-pay credit and had to pay to make phone calls or send texts using another network.

Even in that situation, your credit isn't going anywhere and you would have had to top up again at some point?
Not an apologist for the network, but when you call and ask you will be prepared and have your answers ready :robotwink:

Lots of demands but no answer to the compensation question tha I can see.
Really though, why? If you are paying £30 for 300 minutes or whatever, what's to be compensated for? You still have all the same minutes.

why should they compensate us, firstly its not there fault and also its just one of them things that happen from time to time, yes its annoying but ohwell life goes on.
I dont want any compensation, it was good of 02 notifying us as other company's dont.
