bounced cheque

Anonymous
Not applicable

after loads of hassle with o2

I was sent a cheque from the ceo`s department for £20

I banked this cheque and thought nothing more about it

I got a letter from the bank stating the cheque had bounced and there were charges

I paid for my car insurance the other day but due to the bank charges

My car insurance payment was returned unpaid

I am now bricking it as if O2 don`t get this sorted out my car will be impounded

This is the type of situation where if a really poor company screws up

the repercussions can be dire

Has anyone else been left in a similar situation?

Thanks for any feedback

Can't see how a company cheque can bounce but if it was O2's cheque I'd make a complaint http://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain

don`t have time to go through the never ending red tape and awfull customer services

hopefully will get a reply from ceo`s office before tomorrow

or it will be a trip to the office of fair trading

I just can`t honestly believe after Kirsty Eatwell conducting a full investigation

then sending me a cheque to make up for their awfull service it bounced!!!!!

updates will be provided

OH yes and I went all the way into town to O2 shop

I showed the pleasant and well manered assistant the cheque and the appology letter

He just rolled his eyes and phoned customer services and handed me the phone

30 minutes later I`m walking out of the shop none the wiser

It just endlessly bad

That's ridiculous.! Please definitely put in the complaint following the link given. And let us know, what if any explanation was given as to why a ceo's cheque bounced.!!?!?!

thanks for your message

I have been left with no option but to contact trading standards due to O2`s fraudulent behaviour

My friend has offered to pay the bank charges in the meantime to stop my car getting impounded

I am shocked because I could have been dring along the road on holiday and been stopped and my car impounded and been stuck in the middle of nowhere

I have never seen such an awfull company

more people need to post on the community to show how bad this company are

More people posting on the forum would indicate O2 being more popular surely?
