How long will it take for my replacement sims card to be activated?

Upto 24 hrs. Keep rebooting you phone until the sim becomes live....

Is it P&G or monthly. Is it a replacement sim for a lost sim or because of a sim fault? I only ask because if it's a replacement you may need to ring up to activate it.
