YOUR COUNTRY TARIFF - QUESTION

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi, I am currently a "normal" pay-as-you-go user and I am being charged 20p for texts to norway. Could someone confirm that if I switch to the "YOUR COUNTRY" tariff, that texts to norway will then be 10p? I have trouble getting my head around it.

Can I then send O2 a text asking to change, and once confirmed, topup my phone with £20 and then these benefits will be put in place? or can I topup my phone today, for example, and I will still get the benefits when the conformation comes through?

Thanks very much.

It's the changing tariff process which baffles me.

I have 0p on my phone. If I text O2 and request for my "standard" tariff to be changed to the "YOUR COUNTRY" tariff, with a text ofcourse, and then get the confirmation text 2 days later, can I then topup my phone with £20 and the "YOUR COUNTRY" benefits will then be on my phone, immediately? Yes or no, please.

If I'm missing something, please help, thanks.

I explained that in the other thread. You don't change straightaway. Tariff changes are actioned once a month on your anniversary date. How much allowance you get depends on the total amount topped up since your last anniversary date.
