YET ANOTHER Switch Up scam. Bring back Platinum customer service

Since they disbanded Platinum customer service the quality of O2 customer service has plummeted.  It’s barely there.  Hard to speak so anyone, a chatbot that is useless, difficult to get issues resolved on Live Chat.  I’ve been with them for over a decade and I just want out.

I switched up my iPhone 16 Pro Max 1TB recently - but I received an email tonight saying they were expecting a 256GB phone - I have never owned one.  It’s clear on my a/c that my phone is a 1TB.

When I upgraded over the phone, I asked for Disney+ premium as my extra - was told they could only add Standard but once I activated it, I could upgrade to premium - obviously not true and didn’t work.  So am now paying full price with no £2 discount as advertised.

I asked to remove Amazon prime paid extra from one line and to add it to second line which I had just upgraded.  It was removed, I received activation text, I activated it and it went back on original line as a paid extra.

First world problems I know, but we pay excessive rates for our phones and should not have to deal with customer service as bad as this in return.

I think the regulars on here would agree with you.

With Switch Up we have got to recommending this is only done in store, simply because of these types of problem.

With the rest it seems they will tell you what you want to hear to get you off the line.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
