So far has hit nordic areas and will take a few weeks to rollout everywhere.
Of course, network firmwares will take as long as it takes the networks to test and ok to sony

Hey guys I am a new user on o2 community so please be gentle lol

I updated my Xperia z3 yesterday to lollipop 5.0.2, but the battery is running out at a abnormal speed. In space of 13 and half hours from 100% it's gone to 55% with not much use.

Any help to resolve this issue is much appreciated

Thank you

yes - My colleagues Z3 compact (on EE) received his lollipop last night.

My Z2 Xperia Tablet (factory, unbranded) is receiving its software atm. (9:35BST)

I don't know anyone with a Z2 or Z2 compact and I'm hopeful for Z1 Compact very very soon.

It's nice to have new toys...

Well, firstly, 45% usage in 13.5 hours is the equvalent of 30hrs from a full charge - not exactly bad in itself.

You do have to give the new OS time to settle in though. A few days and a few charges is usually sufficient.

It's perfectly normal to "think" the battery is draining quicker after an update.
Normally things settle down after a couple of days but if you're still not happy then it is suggested to make a full backup and do a factory reset on the phone.
